Help Us Create a Brighter 2018 for Our Children

Sad homeless boyThink about the darkness a child feels when they are removed from their home because they are in danger.

It may be that their home is violent.

It may be that no one cares for them.

They are moved, suddenly, to a different home, often into foster care.

It’s been dark, lonely and terrifying for hundreds of Hamilton County children that were removed from their homes this past year. And it’s never been darker for our community. The number of children who need a CASA Volunteer keeps increasing: by 56% in just two years.

During our GIVING TUESDAY Campaign on Tuesday, Nov. 28, ProKids is asking our community to make sure there is light in these children’s lives: The kind of light that a CASA Volunteer brings. The light of safety. Of security. Of stability. And of the possibility of a permanent, nurturing home as soon as possible. And thanks to an anonymous donor, your Giving Tuesday donation will be TRIPLED.

That means that if ProKids received $5,000 in Giving Tuesday donations, the anonymous donor will match it with $10,000.

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with the latest news as we reach for this important goal on Tuesday, Nov. 28!
