Fall Fling Recognizes Extraordinary Efforts

At ProKids, we know that every day, one of our volunteers makes a difference in the life of a child. It’s no small thing. Our children have endured abuse and neglect, traumatic experiences that no child should ever have to face.

When a ProKids CASA Volunteer is in a child’s life, there is a chance for that child to transcend their trauma. These children can find success in school, in relationships and in finding a safe place to call home.

Each year at our Fall Fling, we celebrate all the CASA Volunteers who step up for our children. We particularly acknowledge the work of a few volunteers, selected by their CASA Managers, for their commitment to these children. By doing so, we seek to invigorate the passion of all of our volunteers, to energize our Committed Community and to mobilize Greater Cincinnati to care for all of our children.

This year’s honorees who received the Darlene Kamine Advocate of the Year Award are:

Phyllis L. McCallum

Cliff Mentrup

Donna Salmon

Ann Wong
