Participants will learn the various types of placements available for children. In addition, they will learn about the services offered by Hamilton County Job and Family Services (HCJFS) and the therapeutic benefits of each type of placement.

PKYP's Back to School Birthday Bash!
Wednesday, June 19, 2013 6:30 PM to 9:30 PMJoin us in celebrating PKYP's second birthday and annual school supply drive on June 19, 2013, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Fifty West Brewing Company (7668 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227).
Tickets to the Birthday Bash are $40 and include two drink tickets, a light dinner, and one raffle entry! Proceeds from this event will help us reach our goal of providing 250 ProKids children with packed backpacks (average cost of $30 to $40) for the 2013 school year.
A limited number of tickets are still available on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you would like to purchase tickets, please email PKYP@prokids.org.

Wednesday, June 26, 2013 12:00 PM to 1:00 PMThe first step in becoming involved with ProKids is to attend a Snapshot. Snapshots are one-hour informational sessions that are held weekly at our Mt. Auburn office. Snapshots are free and you will not be asked for a donation.

Participants at this class will learn how to plan the investigation and gather information on a case. They will also understand how to do a diligent search and how to successfully monitor court orders.

The goal of this class is to introduce participants to the roles and responsibilities of a CASA volunteer. Participants will become familiar with the ProKids' mission statement, Volunteer Policy and Procedure Manual, outcome measures, staff, funding, programs, and building. Activities will include the definition of "best interest" and relationship boundaries with children & families.
