ProKids Releases 2019 Community Report

While focused on the ongoing issues affecting our children in today’s public health crisis, ProKids looked back on its 2019 accomplishments in its 2019 annual report to the community.

The report highlights the record number of community volunteers who stepped forward to speak up for abused and neglected children, enabling ProKids to advocate for 1,009 kids.

Also included in this year’s report is a look forward by Executive Director Tracy Cook, highlighting issues of racial justice and uncertainty of the economic situation as we weather the pandemic; a reflection on the enduring commitment of ProKids by Board President Bob McMahon; stories about how individual volunteers have discovered ways their voices have value in children’s lives; and profiles of three individuals who were given the highest honors of ProKids — including a video interview — which highlight how ProKids changes lives.
