The Process for Becoming a CASA Volunteer

– Attend Class One

After attending Class One:

– Register for the remainder of your classes. See “How to Register” on this page.

– Make sure you have submitted your background check documents. If you have any questions or need assistance completing these documents, please contact Peri Russo or call 513-487-1047.

After attending your third session:

– Schedule your CASA Volunteer interview. Available slots are here.

After attending your fifth session:

– Schedule your court observation. Available slots can be accessed here shortly.

How to register for your classes

After you attend Class One, you can register for the remainder of CASA University by viewing this list of upcoming classes or the training calendar or  A suggested training schedule will be provided to you after attending Class One. We suggest finishing in six months or less.

Bring your CASA University manual with you to class. You’ll be taking notes and adding materials to the manual throughout training.
